Do you feel disconnected from you body. Like you know you have one but you increasingly ignore aches and pains, notice yourself slouching, or just feel meh. Or maybe you want to break the cycle of measuring your appreciation of your body based on the number on the scale or which jeans fit.
Somatic practice is about understanding that you deserve support, accepting support from outside yourself, then finding internal structures and sources of support. Drawing from breathwork, yoga, Pilates, Laban principles, and restorative techniques, we use simple movement practices to help you feel better in your body by finding more functional alignment, moving and breathing with three-dimensionality, and appreciating how our bodies can take up space.
