Psychotherapy That Supports the Whole of You.
Helping you feel fully embodied and emboldened to make purposeful choices.
You are competent—but feel empty. You’re tired, sluggish, or always behind. You notice you’re complaining more than connecting. You feel unmoored, aimless, or just… off.
Come find your purpose and feel more like yourself.

Ashley Thorndike, LCPC
I’m a practical, compassionate therapist who helps people find relief and direction when life starts to feel heavy, confusing, or off course. Time keeps moving, responsibilities keep piling up, and many people find themselves functioning well on the outside while feeling depleted, disconnected, or stuck on the inside.
I specialize in working with adults, parents, and families navigating life transitions, parenting challenges, physical and hormonal changes, work/life strain, food issues, and questions of meaning or purpose. My approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, somatic therapy, SPACE parenting support, and CBT-AR to help clients understand patterns, regulate emotions, and make values-aligned choices.
Therapy with me is a place to slow down, say the things you don’t say anywhere else, and move forward with intention. Whether you’re seeking ongoing psychotherapy, continuity sessions, or focused support during a transition, we’ll work collaboratively—grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a gentle push toward what matters most.
Ways We Work Together
-
Consistent, ongoing support for healing, processing, and change.
Weekly psychotherapy is best for clients who want regular space to explore emotions, patterns, relationships, and life transitions as they unfold
-
Compassion, curiosity, and a gentle push.
Structured monthly psychotherapy designed to help you stay grounded, intentional, and emotionally well over time—without weekly sessions.
-
Compassion, curiosity, and a focused push
Standalone 3-4 hour sessions create an intentional space to explore one area of life with depth and care. Through a blend of reflection, processing, and somatic and conceptual skill integration, intensives support clarity, reorientation, and meaningful forward movement.
Different seasons call for different kinds of support. These options are psychotherapy services—offered at different rhythms to meet different needs.
Therapeutic Approach
Therapy here integrates talk therapy with somatic techniques to support emotional regulation, presence, and self-compassion.
Over time, anxieties that once felt dense and all-consuming can become more porous and tolerable. By learning to notice and respond to both thoughts and body-based cues, clients often experience greater ease and direction.
This is a space without predetermined benchmarks, performance evaluations, or expectations to "do therapy right." We will, however, work with intention—co-creating plans and strategies aligned with what matters most to you.
Therapeutic Frameworks Include:
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
